Alfie’s Fund is a non-profit organization that has created and sponsors the Alfie Scholars Program at Seattle University.

Alfred F. Lustbader founded Alfie’s Fund in 2014. He was raised in Brooklyn, New York, during the Great Depression. His mother shaped his values of integrity, hard work, and the Golden Rule — to treat others as we wish to be treated.

In 2008, to honor the legacy of his brother Robert, Alfred founded Robert’s Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to foster civility. Robert lived a life in service to others, exhibiting care and concern for family and friends, and contributing positively to his communities.

Alfie’s Fund and Robert’s Fund are linked in their shared mission to foster civility wherever possible.
