Congratulations to the recent inductees into the Seattle University chapter of Alpha Sigma Nu (AΣN), the Jesuit honor society that recognizes students who are committed to intellectual development and deepening of Jesuit ideals and scholarship, loyalty to faith and social justice, and service to others. Membership in Alpha Sigma Nu is one of the most prestigious honors awarded in Jesuit institutions, and only 4% of the total number of enrolled students at a given campus are nominated each year. On April 11th, 2019, four Alfie Scholars of the 2018 cohort, Chhavi Mehra (Communication and Media), Farhia Hassan (Nursing), Stephanie Sanchez (Nursing), and Cesar Rios III (Nursing), and one Alfie Scholar of the 2017 cohort, Tiffany Carpenter (International Relations), were inducted into the chapter this year.
