Alfie Scholars Honored with Year-End Awards

Although Seattle University's in-person commencement ceremony was canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions, virtual events organized by various departments across campus celebrated the Class of 2020. 

Four Alfie Scholars were recognized at Seattle University's Red Night Out, an annual event that celebrates various areas of accomplishment reflective of the multiple facets of Seattle University's mission.

Stephanie Sanchez
(Nursing, 2020)

Recipient of The Saint Peter Faber Integrity Award. This award is presented to individuals who demonstrate a commitment to fostering citizenship, integrity, and ethical behavior. Stephanie is the second Alfie Scholar to receive this prominent award.

 

Distinguished Graduating Student Award

3 Scholars, Chhavi Mehra (Communication and Media, 2020), Jorge Lara Alvarado (Civil Engineering, 2020), and Azrael Howell (Psychology, 2020), received the Distinguished Graduating Student Award. This award recognizes graduating students whose outstanding contributions have spanned their time at Seattle University.
